RARE 14" Antique Early African Tribal Carved Wood Staff Head Kuyu ? Congo Africa

Offered for sale is this wonderful Antique Early Carved African Wood Staff Head. Size: 14.5" tall We are not sure of the tribe or region this mask comes from but we believe Kuyu - Republic of Congo. If anyone can verify, it would be greatly appreciated. We are sure that it is early and was purchased from an estate in Huntsville Alabama over 20 years ago along with other valuable tribal arts items. Condition: Normal wear and tear for an artifact of this age - there are a couple of holes in the forehead - looks like it was hit with an arrow? We welcome comments regarding the possible origin of this mask.
