Offered for sale is a beautiful VINTAGE Art Pottery Donkey Plaque. Gold label on front reads "Niagra Falls - Canada" Also marked in ink on the back and numbered: Japan. The pottery looks like Italian art pottery from the 1950's. We purchased this at an upscale estate along with many other fine Italian pottery pieces by Gambone, Netter, Fantoni, Bitossi, etc. This is a wonderful plaqe and Looks great with , Mid Century Modern, European, and Eames period Furnishings.
Condition: very good-frame has some scratches and marks due to age - pottery is also very good-no chips, cracks, hairlines-one very small glaze flake on pottery (donkey's leg-see photo)
