Offered for sale is a rare and fabulous original oil painting on canvas by Mexican artist Marcos Hernandez Garcia (Socram) The painting is signed lower left and dated '71. There is also writing on the back of the painting including the title "La Barca De Caronte" and date- see photos. Size framed: 33 5/8" X 29 3/4" This is a wonderful work by this renowned Mexican artist. Condition: a small slit in canvas (very difficult to detect looking at the front) See last photo of the slit pictured from the back. This is an easy repair if even necessary. Overall condition is very good and consistant with the age of this painting.
